"I will always keep an open mind, stay objective, and carefully evaluate what will best serve our children."
I have completed my Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership, Masters’ Degree in Education Administration and Bachelor of Science Degree in Business. My desire and passion for education have elevated my knowledge about education regulations and managing budget control.
I am a retired Lynwood Unified School District employee after rendering 28 years of dedicated and valuable services to the students, staff, and parents. I taught at Vista High School for nine years and at Lynwood High School for 19 years.
As a Classroom Teacher, Activities Director, Dean of Students, and Cheer Coach I played a key role in the learning process, both in academic and extracurricular capacity; while, promoting diversity on campus.
We have been residents of Lynwood since 1972. My daughter attended Lynwood Unified School District schools and graduated from Lynwood High School because I believed in the Lynwood school system. It is for this reason that my grandson attended Helen Keller Elementary School.
In addition, I served as the president and treasurer for the Lynwood Teachers Association. Also, I served as the President for the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) for Washington Elementary and First Vice President for the Lynwood Parent Council.
